A wish-granting year
we can all be proud of...
Dear Karen,
When a wish is granted, it brings hope, strength and joy to a child with a life-threatening medical condition.
Since you’re a member of our Make-A-Wish family, I want to share with you some of our organization’s highlights for the 2007 fiscal year, which ended Aug. 31.
13,000 wishes were granted across America.
25,000 volunteers graciously gave of their time and talents to help grant these wishes.
78% of every dollar donated went exclusively to granting wishes.
As you can see, Karen, 2007 has been a year we can all be proud of. Most importantly, we helped many, many seriously ill children share the power of a wish®. Thank you for helping.
Today an ever-increasing number of wish requests are coming in from parents, from doctors, from nurses and from children themselves. Please continue your support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the children we serve.
Thank you.
Best wishes,

David Williams
